Physical Therapy

Ashley Regional Medical Center has a complete in-house physical therapy department. Your physical therapy will be supervised by our highly-trained physical therapists. The latest exercise and rehabilitation equipment is available. The PT department is also part of the Work Steps program for occupational medicine.

Ashley Regional's Physical Therapy Department provides the only one-on-one therapist care in the Vernal area. This means when you come to the Physical Therapy department your direct care will be supervised by a licensed physical therapist.

NEW Pelvic Physical Therapy

Providing care and education for a healthy pelvic floor. Our therapists specialize in treating a variety of pelvic health conditions, such as:

  • Incontinence (leaking at any time)
  • Pelvic floor weakness
  • Scar management
  • Pain with intercourse
  • Pelvic or back pain
  • Instruction in exercise pre/post natal

Speech Therapy

Ashley Regional now has a full time speech therapist,Justin Bensen M.Ed.,CF-SLP. Justin received his BS degree in Communication Disorders from Brigham Young University and his M.Ed in Speech Pathology and Audiology from the University of Virginia. 

Our Speech Therapy program offers an individualized approach to optimize the speech, language, and swallowing function of people with problems related to
communication and swallowing.
We also provide:
• One hour assessment
• One-to-one treatment and education
• Development of home programs
• Progress reports sent to physicians
• Recommendations for further treatment at home and in the community
