Ashley Regional Welcomes Dr. Tsosie, Family Practice & Obstetrics Provider

Vernal, Utah (September 1, 2026) – Ashley Regional Medical Center is pleased to welcome Dr. Jakob Tsosie, a family medicine physician who subspecializes in surgical obstetrics, to the Ashley Regional Primary Care team in Vernal. Dr. Tsosie is now seeing patients and expanding access to primary care services for families throughout the Basin.
Originally from northeastern Nevada, Dr. Tsosie is a descendant of the Newe (Western Shoshone) and Diné (Navajo) peoples. He is also fluent in Spanish, helping broaden access and communication for patients across the region.
For Dr. Tsosie, joining Ashley Regional is about more than practicing medicine. It is an opportunity to serve the people and communities that make the Uintah Basin unique.
