Three New Doctors Join Ashley Regional Medical Center

Vernal, Utah (August 7, 2023) – Ashley Regional Medical Center (ARMC) today announced that three physicians have joined its staff and will be offering expanded medical services to patients throughout the Basin.
“Drs. Haws, Rockhill and Tanner are welcome additions to our medical team. They each bring knowledge and experience in their specialties to the team, which will benefit families throughout the Basin,” said Wes Taylor, CEO of Ashley Regional.
Dr. Sterling Haws specializes in Internal Medicine. He completed his undergraduate degree at Weber State University in Ogden, UT and his medical degree at the University of Miami Leonard M. Miller School of Medicine in Miami, FL. He’s passionate about helping patients feel their best, physically and mentally.
Dr. Stephen Rockhill focuses on foot and ankle issues and surgery as a podiatrist. He joins Ashley Regional from Franciscan Foot and Ankle Institute in Federal Way, WA. Dr. Rockhill earned his undergraduate degree from Brigham Young University in Provo, UT and his medical degree from Des Moines University College of Podiatric Medicine and Surgery in Des Moines, IA.
Dr. Nathan Tanner is our newest emergency medicine physician. He completed his undergraduate degree at Utah Valley University in Orem, UT and his medical degree at American University of the Caribbean School of Medicine in Saint Maarten.
All three new physicians are excited to be back in Utah, closer to family.
