Ultrasound Program for Expecting Mothers

We want to make your pregnancy a special one. The radiology department at Ashley Regional Medical Center has a special ultrasound program and we invite you to participate.

How to Participate

Your physician will order a complete ultrasound at 18 to 20 weeks. This is sometimes called an anatomical survey. If you choose to have your ultrasound at Ashley Regional Medical Center, you are automatically enrolled in our program.

During the first ultrasound, the heartbeat of your baby will be recorded and placed inside a teddy bear. This is yours to keep.

Attached to the bear is a coupon for a free 3-D ultrasound at 25 to 30 weeks of pregnancy. This ultrasound can be recorded for you to keep.

The 3-D ultrasound will not be read by the radiologist.
