Occupational Therapy is a form of rehabilitation that focuses on helping people do the things they need and want to do in their daily lives after experiencing injury or illness. They offer a broad variety of services including:
- Upper extremity rehabilitation
- Hand therapy
- Rehabilitation due to neurological conditions (Strokes, TBI’s, Spinal Cord Injuries, etc.)
- Custom orthosis (splint) fit and fabrication, orthosis management
- Exercise education and management
- Scar management
- Edema management
- Recommendations for ADL assistive devices and changes in how ADL is performed
