Vernal, UT (June 7, 2021) – Ashley Regional Medical Center Board of Trustees presented Karl Breitenbach, M.D. with the Exceptional Service and Achievement Award on May 25, 2021. Dr. Breitenbach is amongst a select group to receive this award.
The Exceptional Service and Achievement Award is given by the medical staff and Board of Trustees only when they feel it is appropriate. The award is given to those who are instrumental and dedicated to their work in health care in the Uintah Basin. Dr. B, as many call him, joins individuals such as Ray E. Spendlove, M.D., T. R. Seager, M.D., Paul Stringham, M.D., and Virginia Ewell, R.N. in this achievement. “This is an award reserved for only those who have shown the greatest dedication to serving our community,” said Allen Parker, Ashley Regional Medical Center Chairman of the Board of Trustees.
“Since 1986 Dr. Breitenbach has become a staple in families throughout the Basin, caring for generations of a family,” stated Wes Taylor, Chief Executive Officer of Ashley Regional Medical Center. “It is a privilege to work with Dr. Breitenbach. He is an exceptional individual, physician and community member, and he deserves to be recognized for his service.”
Typically, the award would be presented at the medical staff and Board of Trustees annual banquet in December. Due to COVID-19 limitations last December, the award was presented at the most recent Board meeting. Dr. Breitenbach will be recognized for his achievements at the upcoming banquet this December.
